If you want smaller tires so you can have less grip, just get smaller wheels.

i don't care who's been doing it, its RICE, i watch ALOT of jap drift videos and i don't see anyone with rims and tires like that
That just doesn't look safe to me. The way I drive (i take long corners aggressively all the time) and the way the roads are in NJ. Heres my Z.. 18 X 10 +20 in the rear. 18 X 9 +18 in the front. I want to get a 10mm spacer for the front affectively making it 18 X 9 +8 and a 5mm spacer in the rear, making it 18 X 10 + 10. Currently I have 245/40/18 in the front and 275/40/18 in the rear. Next time I get tires, I plan on doing 265/35/18 in the front with 285/35/18 in the rear.
