Not ordered yet ?

What tires are these ? I doub't they'd cause a problem

The speedo uses the signal from all 4 wheels to figure out the car's speed.

they allways do that. if the fitment isn't in their list of approved combo's they have to call and say so. no refunds due to fitment if they call you which makes the research so important

I've just checked the Bridgestone web site for tire sizes.

The 255/40R18 are 26.1in in diameter vs the recommanded tires' (225/45R18) of 25.9.

Comaparing with the 275/40R18 rear, the tire size difference will be 1.9% instead of the original ~3%. That is not enough difference to upset the ABS/VDC/TCS system as it's pretty much equivalent to running used rear tires with new fronts.

It's not the recommanded tire sizes, but it can still work AND will minimise the car's killer understeer that you'd get with a 245/275 combo.

Somebody else chime in so we can get this guy to order the wheels!!!! lol

Yea, don't worry about the Tire Rack doofus...he's required to downplay any setup not approved in their database. I run 255/35/18 in the front and 275/35/18 in the rear and have had absolutely no issues. You should be just fine...post pics when you're done. GL!!

i just bought the same thing except P45R's all around....before i bought i did alot of research and prob looked at most every thread realting to wheels on this site and other Z sites.....it seems that the computer(VDC) works fine with a similar DIFFERENCE between the front and rears inchwise, the speedo will prob be a bit off but who cares no one on this site obeys speed limits within a couple mph anyway ......but anyways ive found out that the most common combo with this size wheel seems to be a 265/35/18 up front and 285's in back...it also seems most logical with the tire sizes seeing as the difference between the front and backs are 0.3 inches which is the same as the stock ones

Are you getting the aggressive looking setup. The offset. I love the way the torques are concave...

Where in FL??
