Default 20x10 will 275/35 fit no problems and offset

forgive me if this is within some thread and i missed it but i hav been searching for the last half hour.... Im looking to buy some Tsw thruxtons, and want to know if i can get away wit a 275/35/20 on the rear with no rubbing. The tire guy told me i have to go with 275/30 but he also told me i couldnt put 20's on my lexus sc400 and i already had them.... so i need other opinions. please help.... also wat offset should they be, 20x8.5 f and 20x10 r, thanks

yes, it will be fine. i used to have the tsw thruxtons

they were:

R: 20x10 +20 offset 275/35/20

no rubbing and never rolled fenders

if you had vdc you would have to run a 30 series in the rear to keep the size within 3% or it would throw off the vdc
