Default Online Tire Stores

Thought be a good idea to post some sites I found when researching for tires.
  • Tirerack.com
  • discounttiredirect.com
  • tire-easy.com
  • mavistires.com

so far, discounttire and tirerack are the best but pricey.
tire-easy has more brands(yes, cheap asian brands) but some of the shipping is kind of high.
mavistires has about the same pricing and shipping is a little better( but all depends on the tire sizes and brands). but availability in stock is low.

Hope I don't get too flamed for looking at cheaper alternative brand tires as tire performance is very important to me. but if i can save 100 or more and get close enough performance...why not

I always get my mounting and balancing done at Sears. On all my cars and truck. Reason being, if u let them mount and/or balance ur tires once, u get free balancing and free rotations for the lifetire of the tire with them at any of their locations.

I know we can't rotate our tires, but free balancing FTW. I take it in every 6,000 miles to have them balanced, so the tires don't end up with bubbles or shifted belts since '06s have steering vibration dampners and u can't notice the vibrations until it gets really severe.

I got mine from east coast tires, I'm not racing or drifting, or anything crazy, but they gave me a fair deal on some fair wheels, mounted, balanced, shipped, good customer service and pricing that tire rack couldn't touch.

I ordered my 305's from Tirerack and had them in 2 days. Total for mounting and balancing saves me $200, just for those 2 tires over any local shop I called.
