will 18x10+38 fit up front running 265/35 tires on stock suspension? will it look good?

 

Might fit without hitting suspension... wouldn't look good. Maybe with an offset around +18

 

10" rim and a +18 offset will probably need fender rolling.

 

+20-+22 will be fine. I run +22 all around

Doesn't offset really depend on the spoke design? I've heard of folks of the boards running all sorts of +/- offsets but the wheels were all different brands and designs.

What wheel are you planning on running?

 

trying to decide between Enkei RPF1 or RPO3...id like to run the same size all around so i could rotate tires and save me some rubber, plus apparently stiffening the sidewall up by runnin 265's on 10 or 10.5 inch rims is beneficial.

 

Who said the 350z's are prerolled? I rolled my rear.

 

You have to have the rear tires be taller than the front ones. That's the way it's set up from the factory...if you don't, it'll throw off the drivetain and mess up the traction control.

Last time I checked, you could roll the front fenders on a Z.

an 18x10 is going to look the same (in terms of where it sits in relation to the body) as a 9 inch wheel with a +25

 

...mmk..no more responses for you. The track and grand touring come setup that way, base and enthusiast models come 18 front and rear. Go read up on the specs and get back to me.

 

The tires that come from the factory have zero impact on VDC, or traction control, or handling...there are rules with respect to front to back stagger that have to be adhered to in order to keep these things happy (within 3 % of overall diameter front to back), but you absolutely do not need to have different height from front to back.

I'd go with the RPF1 9.5 +15 all around. It's about as aggressive for the rear as you can get without causing problems up front. It's also plenty wide if you are just going to run 265's and would even give them a very slight stretch.

 

Base and enthusiast models come with staggered tires as well BTW, maybe you should stop responding

 

yes i know this, he was talking about wheel height, not tire size. I dont have TCS of VDC by the way, so i dont have to worry about messing that up. Just to clear everything up i have a 2006 350Z BASE COUPE..18x8.5 rear 18x8 front...

 

read his post again, he makes no mention of wheel height, only tire height
