Hey all,

so a while back i majorly curbed the 2 passenger side stock 18" 06 wheels. I really like the look of them and wasn't planning on changing them, but the rash bothers me a lot. this guy at a body shop said they can send them out and have them fixed like new for $200/each. seems steep and i could probably buy replacements on here for similar price (per wheel). is it worth it to replace the wheels if i'm ok with the styling? I'm not planning on tracking the car, and other than a little better traction from some widers tires, i can't see any major benefit to spending $2-3K on new wheels and tires. would you rather (a) fix present wheels, (b) buy a spare set of '06 ones, or (c) drop some $$$ on decent wheels? i just can't decide what to do. i am torn between keeping stock look. lemme know what you think.

 

i would drop some money on some better wheels.

trust me man, once you get some nicer wheels....you will not regret it.

 

def buy new wheels i love the 06 stockies as well but nowhere near my 19 inch volks. and also while your at it you can trade me your tails for my stock 03 tails. what do you think? lol

 

sorry dude, the headlights and taillights were part of the reason i waited for the 06. thanks for the input tho. i've been oggling nismos, and like the idea of the new 19", but i haven't seen any pics on here of them on a car. i'm moving to LA soon too, and not sure if buying nice wheels is worth it considering crappy roads and theft rates.

 

yeah i was obviously kidding who in their right mind would ever consider that lol. i here ya about the roads, theyre not too good around here but just have to stay very focused on roads lol.
