Default Zinik Wheels

I'm about to order a set of Zinik Z21 Sofi's from Zinik's 2007 line. www.zinikwheels.com Does anyone have any information or experience with Zinik? The wheels are 20" 10r 8.5f with 40 and 35 offsets. I can just use a spacer to flush the wheels/fender right? I'm getting the chrome with the black inserts.

Here's a couple pics i found....

What do you think? Any info...

that lip is going to get hella dirty...they look pretty nice...you're going to get super-flamed for the chrome though

they don't have lower offsets than +40 and +35?

They don't have lower offsets. I was looking for a rim that had nice lines that still had the sporty look. It's not like they are crazy goofy lookin chrome wheels that look like they should be on a truck. I think they would flow nice.

...lol... i know that. Was just showing what they look like on the car. They aren't even available for direct purchase. I'd have to wait til the end of the month. Containers of them just went out to shops a couple weeks ago.

I have Zinik 18" shoguns on my truck. They're chrome and they are holding up fine. I would want somebody to shoot me if I bought something simlar for my Z though.

1. Not a fan.
2. Spacers are not something you use to make a wheel work. They are just bandaids.

Ok, i just got off the phone with the guy and he told me that he can get the wheels in a offset closer to a +20. Thats a better offset for the vehicle correct?

Those are nasty. For the price you are paying, I would go with some 18 inch Work wheels (Emotion or XD9) or maybe try Axis.

Edit: Those inserts are hideous

I like the wheels for a show 350Z. Or a weekend driver.

I work at Tire Rack and we sell the Ziniks, they are nice for trucks and some bigger cars, but I'd never recommend them for a Z. They are big and heavy...if you are going for more of a luxury look then fine, but it'll screw any performance up.

GRRR! you guys are making this tough on me!.... I guess you'll are right... I like the look but when it comes to things for my car I'm so indecisive.

I guess i'ma wait more until i actually see them on a Z when the hit the street or until i see rims i want at the right price.

Thanks for the opinions and not being too harsh...

I would seriously consider talking to Romi and getting some Axis Hiro's/Penta's/Reverb/Shine's or the Gravity's for $2300 (w/tires)...
