OE Bridgestone P.O.S. RE40 lasted about 13,000 miles. My current Bridgestone S3 Pole Position is almost down to the treadwear indicator is about to be swapped out after 23,000 miles. (it will probably last up to 25,000 miles).

Still on OE Bridgestone RE40 with 16k, may get another 5 out of them but that was with 4 autocross events and 1 test n tune which was about 3 hours of hard driving. Mostly the rears are down, front still look good.

I usually get 7k a set of tires. The set up I have is very aggresive, but tires are cheap. I had Kumho MX's the last time. Pure junk in my opinion. I am going to buy the RE050 PP this go around. I like bridgestones the best of all the tires.

I tried to Kumho because my friend said they are good tires for 900 bucks. They are, but why not spend the extra and get better tires.

I realize a lot of the time its the driver, but I would try and stay away from these tires. There were four accident threads in the span of like a month or two and all four cars hydroplaned in the rain and ran Nitto 555's.

I wore out my rear RE040's in about 13.5k miles. I've put about 26.5k on my BF Goodrich KDW-2's and did a couple of auto-crosses and two track days on them, so with out that you could probably get another 5-10k miles on them.

Great tire, just a little noisy. Pretty cheap too from Tire Rack!

IMO Nittos are crap. Never liked them even from back in the days when the import scene first took off. Many people like them because they were really cheap. The only good thing about Nittos is that they do offer many plus sizes for different tuning applications.

BTW, I squeezed out 21k miles on my stock rear RE040s. The fronts were changed out by the dealer at 7k miles due to feathering issues. After that was corrected they look to be around 7-6 /32 after took them off and installed my wheels.

24,000 on OEMs; looks like my Toyo T 1Rs will be around 24,000 as well.

No track.

^^ Same for me. My OEM Bridgestones required replacement at about 22K (I stretched it to 25K).

For some members, 10,000 miles. For others, 50,000. Are you shopping for tires? Check the tread life numbers.

my rear RE040's are down to the treadwear indicators at 9k lol. 8-10 trips to the dragon, which is comparable to an 11 mile road course. lots of off camber corner exits means lots of inside tire spins :/. hoping going wider with my next set of wheels/tires will prevent me from breakin the next set lose so often.

I'm pissed. My NT555's are almost down to the wear indicators and ive only gotten like 10-12K out of them. I dont even drive that crazy. I'm not doing fast and the furious burnouts and dont autocross, not lowered either I have also hydroplaned with these tires and slid into some pretty nice size rocks. I dont know why these tires didnt last at all.
