Does anyone have Volk GT-7's? I'd like to see pics...your impressions...wheel weight.
Same goes for Axis 7's...
And lastly TE37 - seen them on tons of Z's here - what is the wheel weight?!?

Track model out of the box is perfect EXCEPT in the suspension department. Do you want to be a blinger or a track star? If it's the latter, then I would suggest that you first concern yourself with suspension upgrades. The Z PUSHES LIKE MAD on a road course. I had heard it, but didn't believe until I hit the track this past weekend. UNDERSTEER CITY.
If you're a *bling bling* wanna be, then you should sell me your Brembos to help pay for some new wheels.

theres lots of rims that are SLIGHTLY lighter, or equal, almost all forged 18" rims will be within a lb of those on the track, tho typicly they are significantly wider.
but this isnt worth 2800$ for new rims and tires. way better places to spend that money than to save 1lb in rim weight.

I should have my GT-7's in a couple of weeks. I think they weigh about the same as GT-C's, 26 or 27 pounds - but I'm not sure. I'll put some pictures up when I get them on.

I think the inner part of the GT-7's are cast and the outer portion is forged. and yeah, I was talking about the 19's. definately not track rims - but not heavy enough to slow you down.

Forgot he had track rims. For the others, it's about the same, if you go with toyo tires. And at least on the GT-7's and GT'C's the lip is forged and lighter when compared to the lip on the stock wheels. I'm thinking this may help offset the fact that it's one inch farther from the centerpoint than my stock 17's
