Default wheels...Wheels & WHEELS!

Alright guys and gals. I need help narrowing down some wheels. Looking for summer rear wheels with 245/45 R18 spec. I got some info and price from my local tires stores:

NEXEN N3000 @ $165 ea.
TOYO T1R @ $255 ea.
YOKO AVS ES100 @ $204 ea.
GYs EAGLE RS-A @ $266

I'm leaning toward the TOYO, what do you think. All price include labor and taxes +/- a couple of dollars. I would appreciate any info/opion.

From one Enthusiast to another Thanks!

Should this thread be called tires...Tires & TIRES?

Out of your list I would say
  1. AVS ES100
  2. T1R
  3. EAGLE RS-A
  4. N3000

i just put some t1r's on my car...and the handling is AWESOME...i'm amazed at the wet traction on it...granted, i also went from stocker rims w/ michelin hxmxm4 all seasons to 255/35 285/30 T1r's....and sway bars...so maybe it's a combination of things...but i'm very pleased so far!

Have you consider BFG KWD II? Good tires for the money. Some people complains about the road noise, but I dont really notice the differnece.

Don't even consider the T1-R for a stock 245/45 rear wheel. They feel very squishy squashy when cornering. Most people that have Toyos have aftermarket lower profile wheels and are less likely to feel this....but its still their, just much more pronounced on the stock profile. Makes the car feel unsafe..

I hear YOKO warp easily when hitting a pot hole. Is this true?

I've Toyo and Nittos. Toyo is a bit slick, while nitto grip is pretty good.
