Default Flat black or Gloss black

I can't seem to decide which would look best with my car, flat black rims or gloss black. My car is black by the way.

thanks

It depends... what style of wheel you plan on going with?

I would do those in matte (not "flat") black. Flat is gonna look like some Honda primer job. The matte (although not shiny by any means) looks much cleaner.

If you have a black car, definitely go with gloss!

i believe you can do a semi-gloss, which would put it between the two.

Matte and flat finish is pretty much the same. Personally, Im getting sick of gloss black, you see it everywhere. Matte(flat) black looks more racey and not common as gloss black. My vote is to matte.

Maybe it's just me then, but a matte black has a nice (can't think of the word for it) "shine" to it, while a flat has no shine whatsoever. When I repaint my wheels I'ma prolly do it matte instead of gloss.

Kinda hard to tell, but this is gloss w/red lip...

And this is what the Works are gonna look like spinning (stock Evo IX GSR/RS wheels look exactly the same as the Works)...

Go for matte, because while it isn't dull like flat black it also isn't shiny like the gloss black, you can't see all of the details of the gloss black wheels as much as matte.

Matte or Gloss finish. Flat is definitely a no go.
