Question 295/35 or 295/30, also ? on spacers

What do I need to do or does it matter? I have 19's x10's with+28 offset in rear with 275/35. I want to go with 295/35 in rear. Does it really matter if I go with 30 or 35 on height in the rear, cause I want to go 35? I'm going to cut my fenders and I don't need any feedback on should I cut/role them. Also what size spacers would you reccommend, 5mm or 10mm. I have a +30 offset in front?I also have a Hotchkis drop. So I'm looking for two answers!

It's not a question of clearance only but keeping your stock rolling diameter. 35s will put you closer to 27" rolling diameter and 30s will put you around 26" even. Stock rolling diameter for 03-05 18" on RE040s were 26.6. You should be okay with the 30s. I think that's a better fitment. I'm a little below the suggested rolling diameter at 285/30/19s because of my +18 offset and I have no problems with clearence and/or TCS/VDC

295/35/19 is the wrong aspect ratio. It is too large of a rolling diameter. 295/30/19 is the correct size. You can't use any spacers with the 10" wheel with a 28 offset. I have a 10" +25 and it rubs ever so slightly.

I don't know what you are asking about the front.

But you do have one problem your 10" wheel is a little too small for 295/30/19s. Suggested wheel application starts at 10.5" for the 30s. You are okay with the 35s because they are narrower.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't asking a ? for the fronts just bring you up to date on the part of my set up.

So Jet, your saying even if I roll/ cut my fenders, I still can't go with a 5 or 10mm offset?

As per ADVAN the minumum rim width for the 295/30/19 is 10"... so he is good there. Yes I have my fenders rolled. I didn't use magic like crazy negetive camber. My camber is within specs. I didn't stretch my tires to make them not rub. I have a legitimate setup within tire and rim width specs as per manufacturer. My car is also lowered 1.25" in the rear.

But with my Hotchkis drop I should be OK with a +18 offset, right? (That would be with rolled fender)

I don't know how much the Hotchkis drop is. I think it would likely work. but your definetly at the limit.

Got ya. May be I'll go with 5mm. The Hotchkis is about 3/4 of an inch drop in rear. I still have about 1 1/4 inch between the fender and the top of tire on my current setup.

If he goes with ADVANs. different tires have different requirements because they are not the same width. I looked at some application guilds from tirerack and they said 10.5. Point here I guess he needs to consider the tire brand/model he is going with also.

Yes BFG KDW and KDW2s are 10" for 295/35/19s but I don't see a 295/30/19 in there line.

Edit; tire sizing fixed

So you think I'll be ok with that size then with an 5mm spacer?(that's with the rolled finder) These should sum it all up.

I think either size would technically work but I think the 295/35/19s are the better fitment. You have a conservative offset to do so.
