Default Will 300zx calipers fit?

Sup guys...

I was looking through some forums and noticed a few Maxima owners did a BBK upgrade with 300zx calipers. I checked ebay and they are fairly cheap, they do come in different versions (27mm, 28mm, and 29mm). I was wondering if any of you guys tried or at least researched whether these calipers would fit the Z/G.

Please let me know, or let me in on any info you guys could might know or could possibly find. If it works, I'm sure this could benefit alot of people if this actually works.

Thanks in advance.

this has been cover already, and no one to date has gotten a set to fit. Z1 was going to make brackets but they weren't cost effective. Maximas use different mount bracket setups so you can't use one of their kits, so pretty much you'd have to custom fab something

The main reason the 300zx calipers won't work on the 350Z is because the 300ZX used fixed calipers vs. floating on the 350Zs.

If you're going for cost effective, call every junkyard in your area and ask them to call you when a Track comes in. Somebody else can fill you in on what exactly you need to grab.

Yes even the brakes on the 300ZX showed why it was more of a true sports car than the "bargin" designed 350Z. Unfortunately for the 300ZX, such attributes contributed to its demise due to production cost vs. number of units sold.

That doesn't make any sense when you can get the track model with brembos which are better than the zx setup? Corvettes come with floating caliper designs as well, are they not a "true sports car"?
