I was thinkin about investing is some tein s springs for now just to get the drop... i eventually would like to upgrade to full coilovers. My question though is would i need a camber kit with the springs or is the drop minimal enough a simple alignment would do the trick?? Also these being my first set of volks and considering the amount of money invested i was wondering if u guys have some tips for caring for them... aka certain type of cleaner, cloth, etc. i should us to maintain them? I also am ordering some rays lugs.... and need your oppinions black, red, or silver? thanks for all the feedback guys!!!

i never knew ray's lugs came in silver. just black red and blue. All the choices are fine, but I prefer black ones. red would go well with the colour your rims and car as well.

as for caring for the rims, just use car soap on them, and wash them regularly so brake dust won't build up. DO NOT use any chemicals on them, even if they say it's clearcoat safe. The clear on the rays are pretty weak, and i've seen way too many threads on people ruining the finish on their lips.

and about the black and gold thing, i think the combo's pretty nice too....

Ah yes, SF Challenge, and SF winning.

I challenge you to find 2 sets of rims that would win out over either of these excellent choices.

thanks for all your feedback.... nice wheels do have any suggestions on springs??? whether or not a camber kit will be needed, i was leaning to the tein s springs b/c they dont even drop me an inch..... so i thought a simple alignment would do the job. any thoughts?

i originally wanted 285 but didnt want to have to roll y fenders, the 275's are great plenty of meat and the ride is actually smoother than before. i really love the stance of my car now
