I had the same problem when i was running 245/35 front and 275/30 rear. My rear had smaller overall diameter than my fronts. THis caused my vdc to go off every time. What series tires are you running in the front? IF your running 40 in front with 35 rears, than thats your problem.

Yup, you got the wrong size tires. You should have 274/40-18. What size do you have in the front?

Nope.

255/40/18 = 26" diam
275/35/18 = 25.6" diam

Front is way taller than rear. VDC will definitely have problems.

I see this problem over and over. The rear profile usually have to be the same or larger than the fronts. The only way a rear profile is going to work is if it's a really wide tire.

The rear tires are 28 mm shorter than the front. Very common mistake.

It amazes me how a car dealership can be so ignorant of tire sizes.

The rear tires will be 11.5 mm shorter than the front. A simple tire calculator is smarter than I was told.

If you switch your current setup front to rear you will not have the problem...
