i had to replace just the rear Toyo t1r's recently, and purchased some Falken fk-452 's(275/40/18) online for 139 each+shipping. I chose them due to the fact they are exceptionally cheaper than most other street tires, and yet are rated quite well among people who have used them. I have only had them a couple hundred miles and not pushed them yet though, nor know how they fair on a track. GL w/ ur choice

I have the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions...great tires! Bridgestone has decided that they don't want to be the best kept secret in the tire industry. They are pushing their brand to compete with Michelin and I think they do. I've also got Blizzak LM-22's and they are sweet. The GY F1 GS-D3 doesn't really have a weak sidewall, it's more the tires tread design that makes it feel kind of squooshy...if you drive it at 3/4 or 1/2 tread it feels ridiculous and it's grip is tremendous. I drove on them at the Bondarant Performance driving school and they are sweet tires. I might have gone with them if they would've had them, but they didn't.
Quit being cheap though with your tires, they are the most important part of your vehicle...they only thing between you on the road. Good tires are like good shoes, they can compliment your car or your outfit, but bad shoes can throw off your outfit,...
