Just did a quick google search - it means that at high speeds the car will stay on the ground.

http://www.google.com/search?q=zero+lift+350z

They also discuss on Best Motoring "The 350Z shock" episode, here (it says the video isn't currently available, it should be available later):

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...63540203879569

Look for the part where they take the 350Z and the R34 GT-R on the high-speed track, that's where they mention zero-lift. They compare to the GT-R, which has downforce.

i remember seeing that cusco makes a zero-lift product for the wrx. thought it had to do with suspension travel on awd vehicles.

am i thinking about the right thing?

LOL - STOP GUESSING PEOPLE!

It's the aerodynamic principle that the car produces no lift and no downforce.

Lift = upward force

Downforce = downward force

Zerolift = maybe you can figure it out ?

NAh, zerolift means that if' you already have a passenger, you can't give a lift to anybody else with a Z.

-Sorry man, only 2 seats, I can't give y'a a lift home

Is it really that hard for you guys? Seems pretty common sense to me. zero-lift=no lift. Lift pulls upward and that's good for things that fly. Car's shouldn't fly so zero lift is good.

Zero lift is a function of the ECU that allows power upshift.
You don't need to lift from the thottle when shifting !
