Default Have you ever done your own alignment?

I've been reading this article and am interested in trying my own alignment. I was just wondering if anyone here has done their own before? Since I've lowered my car I'm having a hard time finding someone that will do an alignment for a reasonable price. I was just curious as to hear of anyone's experience doing this. It says it will take a day to do it the first time but if I can get a good alignment then I'd say it's worth it!

Thanks...

Never done it myself. Here's a couple of online articles that you can use too..

Owning a Hunter 811 would be helpful.

I understand what they are saying, but is this something we can change on our cars? If we find that the toe/caster/camber/etc is out of spec, is this something that is easily fixed?

I read the article and it seems like a pretty cool thing to try. My friend has done this on his car and has had good results but I don't know which article sources he used. He has a RX-7.

i did my own alignment, mainly because i change my ride height so often, its a waste of money to take it to the shop everytime. I basically followed that article, but more or less just eyeballed it..
