Default +35mm offset?

Ive searched by typing 'offsets' in this forums seach engine but found no concrete answer.
I was looking at a set of wheels and the advertisement on ebay said +35mm offset. Here they are:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=320115050192
BAsically I want to know is this ok? From what I found searching everyone seems to say that 16-17-or a 20 offset is correct.
Any help would be appreciated. thanx

where's davidv when we need him?

you need to become familiar with an offset calculator.

the ebay ad says it won't rub. they aren't lying to you. many people prefer a more "flush" look (i.e., a lower offset), but it's up to you.

stock for 2003 is +33 on a 8.5 inch rim, or +30 on an 8 inch rim.

just get some spacers, if those are the wheels you really want.

Most Ruff wheels are available in +20 which would be a better fit..

Would I need to re-balance and or re-aligned the car if I add spacers into my car?
