Default 245/40 Rear, 225.45 front???

Is it possible to mix and have 40 in the back and 45 in the front??

Reason im asking is becasue 245/40/18 is sooooooo much cheaper then 245/45/18.

Will it make the TCS Go crazy??

THanks guys.

Nope, that won't work. The fronts will be 0.3" taller than the rears. You pretty much have to stay with the same profile on front and back. When you start mixing profiles (40 vs 45), you're going to have to pick some oddball widths to keep the stagger.
