Tire feathering on 05
05 does not have feathering, neither does my 03 after I got a proper alignment. That is what you will need to do, and no it's not covered under warrantee...that program expired a while back and I believe only the 03, 04 were covered. Take it to the dealer or whomever you trust and get it set to the specs.
How bad is the feathering? I have some NASTY pictures of feathering.

Not true. Nissan put out a bulletin, even giving away free tires. You should know that... I remember you commenting about how you never heard of any other car companies giving away free tires.

Alignment aren’t even covered under warrantee to my knowledge...just like brakes, clutches 99% of the time. That bulletin was an exception to the rule.

The alignment TSB was for the 03 then the 04 models. The reason the OP can't find anything on '05 models with feathering is because few if any really had the problem. Compared to the 03 and 04 models, all years since them have been featherless.

How bad is the feathering, do you have pictures you can post? When is the last time you got an alignment? Getting an alignment every few months is part of maintenance, so what exactly do you want Nissan to do? I think if you get a good alignment, you should be good to go and have no feathering problems. Hell my tires on the infiniti are half feathered, but that is my fault due to being lazy and not rotating tires and not getting an alignment for years. Good luck.
That picture tells nothing about feathering. Your inner tread block is worn away, that's different than feathering. Feathering is an un-even wear of the inner tread blocks. The uneven wear causes a saw-tooth pattern across adjacent tread blocks. That looks like camber wear.
BTW- it's almost impossible to take a decent picture of feathering. The only ones I've seen have been enhanced by a little dust or powder on the tire tread.

This is a photo of the typical 2003 and 2004 feathering. If you look at the inside tread, you can see the unusual wear pattern of alternating high and low blocks. This pattern is what makes the roar.

^^^ Not sure what that's a picture of, but it's not tire feathering.
On a feathered tire, one end of the tread block is higher than the other end. Individual blocks are not different heights, it's the height across each block that changed. Look at the Nissan TSB for the method of measuring the tread blocks, it is done by measuring the gap at the trailing end of each adjacent block.
