Default New Tires already?

man, i only have 25k miles on my 05 z touring, and I already need to replace all four tires. freakin wheels are expensive, so im thinking I should buy a wheel and tire package because the stock 18' rims are looking fuglier and fuglier everyday to me. what do you guys suggest? anyone know some good places to get some real good deals on wheels?

What's your price range? Upsizing your rims and running wider tires will cost you more, so you may want to stay in the 18x9ish range to keep tire prices down. I got 22k miles out of the rear before one of my tires blew out, had probably 1-2k miles left on them. You don't get a sports car and expect tires to last 40k+ miles

NICE wheels will set you back $500 each at a minimum, So you are not going to save any money that route.

W&T forum for good deals, check out some of our vendors, if your looking for a deal (under 2k to $2300) look at the Rota's and Axis.

Maybe WITH tires. You don't have to get volks/works for your car, rotas, axis and other brands out there aren't bad for the price, and will be cheaper than $500/wheel. I know I was quoted $2300 for a wheel/tire axis package.

Yeah, it all depends on what he wants to spend. If under $2000, it may be smarter to just replace the tires with non-oem, maybe put t1-rs or azenis all around.

just bought new tires(General UHP) from tire rack. Perfectly balanced, very quiet and look sharp.

If you got 25k out of those bobo *** potenzas then you were doing good. Regardless of which set up you get, you will be replacing your tires ever 10-20k miles, end of story. The higher performance tire you buy the less tread life it will have. Indeed you will be able to improve the looks of your car by far, but as far as more mileage, the better looking the less miles.

If he's trying to do it on a budget, get some Kuhmo's, but don't expect anything higher (mileage wise) than what you already got from your first set...

25,000? wow thats actually really good if your old tires were the stock bridgestones. i just replaced all 4 of mines at 17500 miles with falken fk452s and everywhere i checked for tires they told me that was really good mileage out of the stock potenzas. i have a friend that wore his out at 8,000.
