Default speedo setting

Hey guys I am replacing the 17" rims with 18" rims how much will this throw my speedo off. And will nissan have to reset it? thanks

Hope this helps. As long as you put tires on, of comparable size, like the OEM tire sizes for the 17's you should be fine. This tire calculator should give you an idea of how much the speedo differs, with varying wheel/ tire sizes

Wheel size has nothing to do with it. It's all in the OD of the tires. And no, Nissan can't reprogram it to correct wrong sized tires.

18" OEM tires are 225/45F and 245/45R. Pick tires in that range and you'll be okay. A wider option would be 245/40/18 and 275/40/18.

19" setups usually run 245/35/19 and 275/35/19

Thanks guys talked with the shop thats installing the wheels and tires and said that the tire size does compensate for the larger wheel and I should be fine.
