Anybody here running 30 series profiles front and rear (or either I guess), on their 19s? Im going to be running a pretty aggressive setup and am also quite low. I like the extra room the 30 series can give me by having the overall tire diameter shorter (any maybe allow for a little wider tire to be run up front). So does anybody have pics of their setups? Notice any signifigant change in gearing since the overall diameter is smaller? Im looking at 255/30/19 front and 275/30/19 rear Toyo T1Rs. The toyos tend to run smaller than other tires of the same size. Thanks!
Those sizes will be over 1" shorter than the OEM tire sizes (25/25.5 vs 26/26.7"). They will work but your speedo/odometer will be off.
I know a guy running 255/35 and 295/30 on a slightly lowered 350Z without any problems.
As for gearing, yes, you should notice that 1st is even shorter than normal. I run 25" OD tires for autocross and hit the revlimiter regularly with them whereas I rarely hit it with OEM tires.

I'm running 255/35/19s on the front and 285/30/19s on the rears. I know it's the wrong size but I won't clear my +17/+18 GTS wheels without rolling the rears. So far there hasn't been any issues. VDC is normal. I do have to say these are Toyos and not all tires will have the same rolling diameter.

Yeah Id prefer to just stick with 35 profiles for the wheel protection (not that there is much anyways), plus with that gearing Id actually be putting more miles on the odometer than I really am

I'm kinda interested in seeing pics of 35's in front and 30's in rear...I also wish I could run wider tired on my +17/+18mm setup but I certainly wouldn't run a smaller diameter tire to do so. Just roll your fender if need be...
I'm running the GTS aggressive 19x10.5+18 and 19x9.5+17 setup. I went with Toyo T1r's 255/35 up front and 285/30 in the rear. I'm lowered on Swift springs and I love it. I still had to roll the rear fenders though. So if that is what you are trying to avoid...this isn't gonna hack it. Here are some pics...

The pics were taken at different times...so you'll notice some of the mods on the car don't match up...but it should give you an idea of what it looks like.

a 30 on tires that small is going to look pretty ridiculous unless the car is very very low
I'm running 265/30 and 285/30 now (on my new 19's) - very lowered, and its the best tire setup I've had to date
