Default Decisions, Decisions!!!

Ok so here's the thing...

I have 4 19" Michelin Pilot Sports (245/35 all the way around) that I got for a good deal on Ebay sitting in my utility closet waiting on some wheels.

I already know I want the Axis se7en mods. My brother can get them for me @ wholesale.

I would like the 19x8 width all the way around with the front lip being 2.5" and the rear lip (MAXIS LIP) being 3.25". But this MAXIS lip doesnt come out until somewhere later this month.

My options are to wait to get the 19x8 wheel with the lips above OR get the 2.5" lip all the way around on all 4 wheels. It makes more sense to get the 2.5" lip all the way around so that when my tires are rotated, I wont have to constantly get tires unmounted and remounted.

For the GUYS WHO ARE INTO WHEEL LIPS, what do you suggest? I know that 2.5" lip all the way around is better than no lip at all (to me) but do you think it will give of a really nice look? I know I wont get the fully effect (or ANY effect, for that matter) of the staggered look, but it should still look nice, right?

Thanks in adv. (if anyone even cares to reply).

If it were me I'd get the 2.5" all the way around, especially if I had tires sitting in the closet.

for me, I would wait a month, DO NOT just rush into it, because you are impatient, you will regret it in the long run. I love the staggard look, and if you have that option, just wait.

btw, the rear needs to be bigger than the 245/35, it should be a 275/35 or if you want to keep the 8" wide rims, get like a 245/40 or 255/40.

he's fine with 245 on 8" rims, the stock rims are 8" with 245 no harm no foul.

but I do agree that its pretty pointless, and the car handles and drives better with 275. but I guess you gotta go with what you got. kinda stinks that your limited forever to nothing bigger than maybe 255 due to rim size, which you arent likely to change again.

Ares,
How wide are your rims? And what are the offsets? I stopped by the other day to check them out. Those wheels look good.
