Default Big Tire Wheel Gap

I just got my new tires/rims installed today, but I had no idea the tire wheel gap would be so big.

My rims are 18x9.5 28mm offset all round. And, my tires are
Front-255/35/18
Rear-275/35/18

What can I do to make the gap less? Please help me out!

lower the car or go with a tire application that is taller.

You can go with 275/40 in the back and 255/40 in the front. That is what most people buy with 18 inch wheels. You can also get tein s-tech, hotchkis, or eibach pro kit springs. Each of these springs will lower car about .5 - .7" (give or take) and will lessen your wheel gap

Stock tires are 225/45 and 245/45. 255/40 and 275/40 are really close in diameter to stock. The 255/35 is 1" smaller in diameter than the stock front, while the 275/35 is 1.1" smaller in diameter than the stock rear.

So, drop it about .5" to get back to the stock wheel gap, or go with 40 series tires. If you stick with 35 series tires, realize that your speedometer is off...

buy some stance coils and slam that thing. 1" won't be enough. You'll need at least 2" to make it look good.

.5 inches will be good enough! Any thing lower would look good but it will shatter your jaw. Plus you will have to buy camber kit and control arms

Im in the Same boat as you my friend. My car is in the body shop and my new 19" wheels/tires just came in. Im dropping them off at the shop so they can slap em on. But this weekend i was gonna take it to get lowered on eibach prokit springs. 1" should be ok for what i use my Z for. But the more i read, im learning that it isnt that simple. The mechanic i talked to said i would definalty want control arms with even the Pro kit. I think im going to take his advice.
