Okay, I started a thread yesterday about a wierd tinging sound in the drivetrain forum. However, I had my fiance drive the car next to me to listen to it.

I hear a wierd tinging sound...kinda like a metal tapping/tinging sound coming from the rear passenger side wheel...What could that be?? Would it be brakes?? It does come from the outside part not rearend internal. Any ideas?? Thanks alot guys

 

If it's a metallic tinging sound such as in coins grinding / hitting eachother I believe I've found what is causing it... it's the passenger belt locker. Push the release button a few times and it should die out. If not, try holding in the release button while the sound is heard.
