am trying to get rims with a nice lip but all i found was 3 inch for a 19 inch rim but i found a bigger lip for 20s. do they make 19s with a bigger lip?can someone help me find some 19s with a nice lip thanks.

Lip on my wheels is 5" I just measured

 

I'd have to say VOLK GTS. 19x9.5 +17 (94mm dish = Close to 4 inches) 19x10.5 +18 (125mm dish = 5 inches).

so would i be able to use a 20 in the rear and a 19 front would that be fine because i like the shine,penta from axis

do the 19s on the thruxtons have a huge lip? i had the 18" before and they weren't big at all.

 

AME Circular Spec - R's with a Super Low Disk in the rear has a 4.5 inch lip, and the fronts will have a 3+ inch lip as well.

Also, my friend calls me the other day and says "you got a Z, duuude, you can totally put deep dish wheels in there." I don't understand the fascination. The fact that you can do something doesn't necessarily mean you should. Why would you select a rim for the deepest lip possible?

 

He likes the look of a deep dish. A lot of people do. Why do you care?

 

Go with some Volks GTS wheels, nice flat lip or WORK Meisters if you like the step lip style.

 

This is about as deep as I've seen.

I think 4" is pretty standard for a big lip on a 19...that lip on those work looks scratched to hell
