Alignment Results...a solution to my tire feathering?, PLEASE HELP!
My car has serious irregular treadwear in the front, especially on the inner walls. I am pretty sure it's tire feathering considering the excessive treadwear seems to be on every third tread. Anyway, the dealer recommended that I get an aligment to help prolong the life of my tires and help eliminate the road noise. I am out of warranty, which I am pissed about, and the dealer refuses to help without a regular charge. Anyway, the mechanic doing the alignment printed this sheet for me and said that this is the best he could do and to post on here to see what other people's experiences are with these camber and toe settings and if they worked for anyone running stock potenzas on the stock 17s.
I can't afford new tires right now! (well, good ones.) Will these settings be okay? He said to note that he dialed in increased toe in the front to compensate for the negative camber and tire wear.
He suggested I get aftermarket control arms because the front's not adjustable enough. IT'S A STOCK SUSPENSION! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BUY AFTERMARKET TO FIX SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RIGHT FROM THE FACTORY!!
Thanks to anyone who can help me. Sorry for being long winded. Here's the results sheet:

...also, what combination worked for people with tire feathering? New tires and alignment? I want to run the stock bridgestones into the ground...i have a decent amount of tread left still, though irregularly worn. Not a problem if I still run them until they're significantly worn despite the irregular wear, right?
I don't see a problem. Your front toe was out, he put it well within factory specs. In fact, all your numbers are within spec. I don't see why you would want or need control arms at this point.
I had the feathering problem and since having it aligned I haven't seen any signs of it returning.

Oops, you're right. Since Toe is the one thing that is adjustable, why didn't he put it within spec?
His note says it's to compensate for camber and tire wear. The improper toe was the cause of the feathered tires in the first place. It looks like he's trying to use his own "adjustments" to fix a problem that Nissan has already published new specs to correct.

Every possible feathering solution is discussed here: https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and-repair/15758-tire-feathering-fyi.html.
I was one of the fortunate members who cured feathering with an alignment. BTW a new alignment will not quiet the roar.

Anyone have a link to the new specs? I think I have them on my comp, I just want to make sure. Thanks.

your car is perfectly in spec...and even it were slightly out of spec, it would not cause feathering unless all you did was drive in a straight line and never made a turn
if you are getting irregular wear on every third tread, I'd suspect your tire pressure is too low
If you have irregular wear patterns, it wont get better, only worse - and they will continue to get louder and louder
If it were me, I'd get a fresh set of tires, and call it a day
