clicking sound from wheel
So i put on some 25mm (.97") wheel spacers today (hubcentric and wheel centric) It looks awesome, and I would post pics but I just finished and its dark out. the gap is 2mm and it tucks perfectly- no rub. I have a clicking noise from the left rear wheel though that was not there before. the ride is smooth, and the wheel is not wobbling or anything. any ideas? Is my wheel going to fall off? There is no rubbing of any sort and the the clicking is definately caused by the spacer/bolt/hub connection. all bolts are torqued to 80lbs, both on the spacer and the wheels. Should it be tighter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had a clicking sound on mine also and it was the axle's. There is a SB on it at the dealers. The axle needs to be regreased. I had mine done on Friday last week...
The only other thing I think it could be is your brakes on that side. There is a little metal clip that holds the pads in place and if it gets dislodged it can *ting. Either way it's not that big of a deal. Neither one will do any damage. Be safe and take it to a tire and brake shop and have them check it out.

will they charge be to have it greased if they see the spacers? also why would It have just started? could the extra load from the spacers have messed with the bearings? It did it the first time i braked after installing the spacers. I didnt touch the brakes though, so i dont think it is them.
I don't know why the spacers would cause it. The brake part is a really thin metal clip above and below the pads. It could have just came loose...
If its the axle's, when I took mine in they said it was only covered on the 3yr/36k mile warranty until I *****ed and said it should be the drivetrain warranty. They did it for free after that.. If they charge you it is a $120-$150 job..The mechanic at the dealer near me said that 25000 350z's are affected by it. To void a warranty they have to prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem. If there are 25000 affected, you have a pretty good case.

Probebly not, TSB's are only directions for the mechanic's to fix the problem. It isn't a recall. According to the dealer, it does no damage it is just an annoyance. If it is only coming from 1 side it may be cheaper. I believe it is considered an hour job and both side are considered an hour and a half. The clicking I had was almost a tinging/ clicking... Mine happened the most starting from a stop and going in reverse...You can always take it by the dealer and have them listen to it. They should be able to tell from the sound if thats your problem..I had a fuel line recall on mine and when I took it in they fixed both.
