Coilovers Deffiantly.. IMO - I always go for suspension before rims first...

To make your Rims more aggresive for the time being, just put some spacers on them... ( :

Rims first. Get used to the car stock before upgrading the suspension.

please get your mind set off volks. even though volk wheels are great, everyone and their mama's has volks. there are j-lines, HRE, iForge, DPE, AME, Fabulous, Work, BBS, Do_Luck, racing hart, SSR and ect..

but if you want an idea of what type of wheels look like on your z, check this out..

Why would you go with a different suspension unless you were trying to change some handling or ride characteristic of the Z? Since you just got it, surely you haven't had time to determine what, if anything, needs to be changed.

If you're changing something just for the sake of change (i.e. cosmetic) then go with new wheels.

for 2000, i don't think you will be able to get a decent set of wheels WITH tires ... don't settle for cheap wheels. for 1000-2000 you can easily get a GREAT set of suspension ... you wouldn't want to have to buy a new set of wheels in the future because you weren't satisfied with the one you already have. suspension would help a lot with performance, and stock Z rims aren't bad for the time being.

yeah =/ i see i see wheels are expensive... with the 2000 i guess suspension is my first mod to do.... what about spending the 2000 on nismo catback , headers, and intake?? all used?? is that better?
