me neither. I put grease into the lower joint and it didn't work.
I'll try all joints next time.

I'm amazed that no one has figured this out. I've tried four different lubes to no avail. People have fixed it but don't know what kind of lube...

Also, I've found that the rear strut tower covers can move and "squeak" a bit.

The car is so quiet that even the slightest noise sounds like the car is coming apart.

Can you elaborate more detail about your finding, where it is and how you fix it.

Thanks,

If it is the same problem i had which is a clicking noise when accelerating, usually lower speeds, the trans axle have to be removed and re-greased. It is a service bulletin. Nissan has recognized it as a problem. I fought Nissan about this for a month, because they claimed it wasn't covered under powertrain warranty, which was total bs. I called Nissan corporate filed a case, and after a month they said they would fix out of the goodness of their hearts. Basically they new it should be covered and didn't want to admit it! If you go to http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/.../NTB04-065.htm go to the link on this page and sign up on the website, its free, and then you have access to all the service bulletins and recalls. Hope this helps!

I recalled that mine has been done with the TSB and with no effect.
Back then, the dealer's head technicial claimed that it has nothing to with it, but they don't know how to fix the clanking, so I asked them to do it anyway, but it has not fixed it.

On the form, they wrote down "it is a noise from driveline and has no known fix".
I am not sure where is the "driveline" referred.
