Default TPS Compatibility

I have searched the threads and not found an answer to this question. Since the '07 has changed the way the TPS work, will the '03 - '06 sensors work in an '07. Any help would be appreciated.

'03 thru '06 give you a tire pressure readout, '07 just inform you of a low pressure situation.

The sensors are still the same. The part that changed is the computer end that controls the display.

According to Jason@riverside, the '07 sensors have a different part number, sure would be helpful if someone could tell me if the old ones would work or not. Seems like someone here should have tried to do this by now

Different part # doesn't mean that it's a totally different sensor or it's incompatible. Could be a new version of the same thing. Somebody (like Jason) will need to verify if they are compatible or not.

Here' some input: I have a 2007 G35 coupe and I purchased a set of pre-07 sensors for my aftermarket wheels (didn't wanna get the stock ones off the stock wheels). The dealer is unable to program the older year sensors on my 2007 coupe, which leads me to think that they work differently as well. It may not be the same for 350z's, but since they share so many parts in common, you may run into the same issue. I'm presently lookign for a set of used 2007 sensors...
