Default Question on Toyo Proxes

I want to replace the stock RE040s that came with my Track model with Toyo Proxes T1-S (my first choice) or Bridgestone S-03s.

I want to stay with the OEM size on both the front (225/45-18) and rear (245/45-18), but from what I can find on the Toyo web site the T1-S is not available in the 225/45-18 size? By contrast, the S-03s are available in the stock size.

One option would be to go with a 245/40-18 for the fronts to stay reasonably close to the revs/mile as the stock size, but it could look odd with front and rear tires with different aspect ratios.

Looking for opinions and suggestions...

Mike I think here's some info for you

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....smo+tire+sizes

you will see that the nismo gt4 setup has 245/40/18 fronts.

you might as well go wider in the rear... maybe 275/40/18.

Only thing you will have to worry about is the bowing out of the tires b/c the stock rims are too small..

Default Here's what I did....

I have a Track model. Replaced the RE040 with T1-S.

I put 245/40-18 on the front and 255/45-18 on the back. I think if I did it again, I would put 255/40-18 on the back.

TOYO does not recommend anything wider than the 255 on the 8.5" rear wheel. You can put a wider tire on there, totally up to you. The NISMO set up has (I think) a 9" wide rear wheel. In that case, you could go to a 265 or 275 section width.

Hope that helps.
