Default wheel spacer question

i bought some rota p45r's a couple months ago and the center caps didnt fit because the hub was to close to the back of the wheel. As a temporary fix i spray painted the nut and hub out back and the dome like hub? up front black to get rid of the rusted look. Now after thinking about it the rota center caps will actually fit if i get some wheel spacers and since i work in a machine shop i figured i may as well make my own, they would be 10mm spacers. The question is would i need longer lugs or will the stock ones still be sufficient even though there is 10mm less of thread contact between the lug and the lug nut itself?

You will need longer wheel studs. Nismo and ARP make them and I'm sure there are others as well, I think you will need at least 50mm studs.

Just buy a set , or machine them as hub centric
