So any members out there let me here for feedback on these. I need to get some tires.

Front - 245/45 ZR 18
Rear - 265 or 275/35 ZR 19

well mine have been good to me, ive got a lot of flats recently but thats my own falt. Get the 275's in the rear.

 

Ive had mine on for about 10,000 miles .They still look brand new , so wear is good . They seem to be a good all around summer tire . I like them in corners .

 

They're great for dry weather... be really careful in wet conditions... stocks held up better in rain than these! Very durable

 

I love them.. make sure you get 275 in the back

 

i had mine for 20 k miles. They pretty good.

 

I don't have anything bad to say about my 555's, although I have different tires on the rear now due to getting wider wheels but I still have them up front. I don't track my car but they seem to stick fine for my sometimes spirited weekend drives, even when I had them on all four corners.

 

i love my nitto nt555's. They are a lot quieter than my stock potenza's. A lot meaning A LOT. Also it's smoother, better grip in dry weather, have about 6k miles on it and a lot of thread left. I did a couple of hard runs in it. Cornering is great. I have had Falken azenis, dunlop direzza's, dunlop sport max, and these are my fav so far.

 

Wow. Thanks guy's. I was hoping to here they where quieter. Over all it seems everyone is pleased with them.

Avoid them! Those people who say Nitto 555s are good obviously
don't drive hard enough and don't drive in the rain.
Dry traction is mediocore at best, and wet traction is simply ABYZMAL.
On rainy days, my car literally skate across the freeway
Please spend 50-70 more dollars per tire and pick up some Michellin Pilot PS2 or Goodyear Eagle GS D3

 

I have noticed a few of you saying this " becareful in the wet ". That being said should I spend a few a bit more for and get the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT then?

I have had great luck with my Nitto's. Sorry you had bad experiences with them. I have had them on my 20" Axis Matrix for over a year now and love them.

 

For the best of dry and wet traction Goodyear Eagle GS D3 FTMFW
TRUST me you'll be a lot happier with different tires.

Road noise isn't all that bad at all. Thread life is rated at 220 so it'll wear out a bit quicker than the Nitto.

BTW FTMFW isn't part of the name LOL

 

are you sure you had the tires on teh right way? they are not good in rain but most other performance tires aren't. I don't drive hard in the rain as well. The nt555 can't be rotated or flipped from one side to the other. They need to be put on the right way. People have had this problem. I'm a tire freak and trust me, this isn't a bad tire. I don't know where you are getting this info from. So many people use the nt555 and praise them.

 

Oh trust me they're on the right way. I'm getting this from my own personal experience.
Nitto 555 is alright for the price but NOT good compared to Michellin Pilot PS2 or Goodyear Eagle GS D3 when it comes to traction..ESPECIALLY wet traction.

I guess if you're just looking for an affordable tires with long thread life go for it by any means.
But they definitely DON'T meet up to my standards and I will never get another set.

Invo's are better , check them out on Nitto's site. The 555 is noisy , and very poor in the corners, but they seem to last a long time.
