Default Which way of staggering is better

I have a 2006 Le Mans Sunset enthusiest 6 speed 350z. I was looking at the TSW Nogaro rims to go on my Z, but I have a question concerning them. I was debating if I wanted to stagger the rims 18 x 8 in the front and 19 x 9.5 in the rear, or if it would be better to go with 19 x 8 in the front and 19 x 9.5 in the rear. I was thinking since the width is the same on the 18 and the 19 inch front rims, that would it make a difference both in look or performance?
If I did 18 in the front, then I thought for one, tires would be cheaper, and for two, the rims themselves would be cheaper. Just trying to get some intelligent information as to which way of staggering the rims is better, if it really matters at all, thankx.

For performance, it matters little. What does matter is:

a. Weight
b. Tires

IMO it's better to get the 10.5 in the rear and 9.5 front. If you ever want to upgrade your rear sizing that 9.5 is going to restrict your selection with the wider tires.
