Just bought some track wheels off another member and gettin ready to slap it on my 05 touring. It came with TPS and I was wondering if we can reset the TPMS at a local shop or it must go back to the dealers to reset?


Also, I want to put 275/40 in the rear of 03 track wheels...is it possible?

Second Question No. You're on 8.5 on the rears. Ideally you want 9.0-9.5-11.0.

Socalbreeze - you must take it back to a dealer to get them re-programmed.

What is the widest tire I can run on 8.5?

 

the local shop doesnt have the tool used to put on the outside of the tires to synch the monitors, nor do they have the consult 2.

 

255 would be the widest recommended.
