Do you like the wheels? Are the sizes and offsets suitable? Then step up to the plate, and order them.

I agree, when you ask opinions of others on web forums the responses will vary from something reasonable to the absolutely absurd. I just recently went through the same thing with a lug recommendation thread I set-up.

A lot of "good responses," but of course there were a few pigeons to come and $hit on the picnic...

If you like them, have researched their durability, quality and are satisfied with the results get them...

At the end it's your dollar... spend it as you see fit...

IMO picking out anything on your car is as personal as the clothing you were, the woman you love, or anything of the above - Your decision represents you and know one knows YOU better than YOU and Your Maker...

haha, you guys are great. I have heard that sportmax wheels fold on the track, but I'm not going to use them for that anyway... so my decision was pretty much made, I just wanted to see if ppl knew of anymore defects. Thanks for the input. As far as sizes go... I may go 17 or I may go 18 but either or I will stagger and I believe the offset should work I get ex) 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. or vise versa for 18's. I think the best thing to do is to find a distributor and test fit. I appreciate the input and more if you please.

Fold? not the 002 rim. I swear every track day i go, the 002 is the most popular wheel out there. Never seen one destroyed....yet. Oh IMO dont get 17's they will look so puny.

17's too small hunh... I thought tires would be cheaper, that is the only reason I figured 17's. But I will hope to test fit sometime in the future.

Hey Tougeracing, do you have 002's on your Z???

Is this going to be a street setup (no tracking at all)? If you going for looks, then DO NOT get 17's - they will look tiny. I really wouldn't even do 18's for anything other than solid black/bronze. Anything with a polished lip will look too small in 18's.
