I run 255/40-17F and 275/40 17R for autocross and DD.( I tried 245/45 17's up front but it pushed a little) I'm in a base so I don't have to worry about VDC. I have always heard that the VDC wants the back tires to be a little taller than the front, so I don't think this setup would cause any trouble.
Try this site to see how far off your tires would be from stock.

I just tried the numbers and it looks like the 255/40 18F and the 275/40 18R should work.

well i am goin with the 255/40 and 275/40 setup. My buddy over in iraq bought me my front tires for my birthday and he got the 255/40. If Vdc dosent like it then i will just turn it off
. Any other objections really to this sizing. I dont want to mount the fronts and have problems.
