Default Are 18inch Nismo LMGT4s too small?

I am gonna order these (18 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5) today and I dont want to be regreting this for the next couple of years.

I am getting these because they are so lite.

Thanks

Rich

You can usually tell by looking at them

they are pretty small and offset very conservative (wheels are tucked in fender). if you plan on lowering your car, then it would be fine.

imo, maybe can try ordering 9.5 all around and just stagger the tires. it will give that concave look on all 4 wheels.

no they're not too small and you'll get the best size for performance. but if you're in doubt, get the 19" nismos.

Sorry. I had 18s on my 03 Acura TL and they always looked tiny and goofy. I guess what I am asking is if I should get the 18s or 19s. I am taking into consideration that the 19 size tires are more expensive and taking into consideration the additional wieght of the 19" wheels.

Then you will have to go at least 19-inches. We don’t want to look tiny and goofy do we?. People will say "Hey there goes tiny and goofy.”

You mention weight as if you are trying to meet a specific goal or theme for your vehicle. You will find out sometimes show looks better than go and vice versa. If you are really worried about weight stick with buying some 18's.

If you're worried about the "small look" get the 19"s.

IMHO, you will regret getting the 18"s, unless you're more interested in performance over aesthetics.

You should just get 19''s because you have already doubted yourself.

18" for performance
19" for show

I have the 18" and I think they sit in the fenders just perfectly. Even with the Veilside kit I don't think they look too small.

Go to tirerack and put different size rims on their virtual Z and decide for yourself.

19" ftw, get the 19" nismos, they're still lighter than stock rims...

are you going to do some serious tracking? because the weight difference isn't going to do much to your performance.

Even if there isn't much of a weight difference the diameter will have an effect on performance.

I have the 18's with the Nismo suspension. Here's a pic of them on my car... you can always go bigger i guess, but they are extremely light. I noticed a big difference in handling/response even over the stock rays wheels.
