Default Strut Brace install question

When reinstalling the strut brace after install a CAI and plenum Spacer, do you want the strut Brace to be as wide as possible or narrow, or in the middle. I guess what i am asking is, do you tighten the middle nut to make it wide, short, or just in between? I hope thats not too confusing, lol.

In-between. Just play around with it until it clears everything and lock it down. No extrememes, or atleast it shouldn't be,

your supposed to turn the nut to widen therefore increasing the tension if i am not mistaken. i've taken it apart once before to install front struts.

Snug plus and couple of turns will be fine. Then tighten the locking nut.
