Blue dots on rims? What are they?

Blue dots on rims? What are they?
I thought I was the only one with these blue dots on my rims, when I noticed a seller selling his 06 OEMs with the same thing! What the hell are they for?
At the top of the rim:
Edge of the left spoke:
I also have one blue dot on the corner of my taillight. :\
