Default 19" M-Sport's with Z badge centercap pics

My ADR M-Sport's centercap is 2.8" diameter.... guess what is exactly 2.8" diameter????

the side "Z" badge.

I bought 4 badges from Courtesy Nissan and modified the existing centercaps to fit the "Z" badges...

here's the result. The dark silver finish on the badge matches the "hyperblack" finish of my wheels exactly!!!

Thumbs up

I can't believe it. I literally thought about doing this with my new wheels the other day, and even mentioned it to my friend yesterday! My gunmetal Rays came with a gold center cap...yuck. I'll have to measure them and see if this will work for me. I guess great minds think alike. It looks good.

here's a good shot of the rear

The fit and color match is PERFECT! It looks like a stock Nissan wheel!

Now that is SWEETNESS!!!! Good job!

How'd you get 'em to stick?

BTW, Discount Tires Direct doesn't list your wheels in your width on the website. Do you have a link?

I had to machine down the existing centercaps. They had a 1/8" lip. I used a 12" bench disk sander with 120 grit and flattened out the lip so that the backside surface of the "Z" badge would sit flush with the centercap surface. The "Z" badges come with a very strong adhesive backing. Just peel and stick.

I also added a dab of 30 minute epoxy to make sure they would not come loose.

Also... I didn't get my wheels from Discount. I got them off ebay. I did get my tires at Discount though.

Looks great. I'm generally not a BBS wheel style fan, but yours look nice, and the price sounds right. I think the idea with the Z logo was a great one, too.

thanks guys..... I really thought that when I got the ADR M-Sports I was gonna catch some flak cause most guys seem to think a BBS style wheel doesn't belong on a Z...

Not that it should matter cause I like them and that's really what matters.... but it's nice ot know that most of you like the looks too....

I really dig the Z logo on the wheels..... SOOO much better than the ADR centercap!

normally I think MESH wheels belong on sport sedans, BUT I have seen some RX-7s with BBS Mesh wheels (similar to yours, with FEWER spokes) and it looked good, I think the mesh wheels with fewer spokes look sportier and thus look better on Sports cars than the mesh wheels with soooo many spokes.
