Question Correct Size Hub Rings???

Quick Question: Did I purchase the correct hubcentric ring for my Work S1's??? Ring size is 66.1 x 73.1. Wheel sizes are 19x9.5 R Disk +24 & 19x11 R Disk +36. I had the wife try to find them but couldn't. That's why I went ahead an purchased this set. Thanks!

The S1 doesn't require a hub ring.

In all the sets that I have sold/installed, they did not need rings. They already fit extremely snug against the hub that I cannot see how you could even get a ring to fit.

S1's absolutely do take a hub ring

do you need them? Nah, I wouldn't say they are 100% essential, but yes, you got the right size

Weird. I guess the ones you get and the ones I get have different bore sizes. Whenever I've ordered them for a Z, the center bore is so snug that a hub ring would not even fit.

I guess I just can't see getting a hub ring on when the wheels fit extremely snug with no play in the first place.

well, logic would dictate that if you have a hub bore of 73.1mm, and a car with a hub that is 66.1 mm, you have a 7mm gap. No, that's not alot, but it's not hubcentric either...that's why you use the ring. If you were to some how be able to measure the distance between the inner hub on the wheel and the hub diameter on the car, you would see this 7mm gap. The ring is there to eliminate that gap, which helps square the wheel against the hub during install

Sorry if I let ya down. All that I know is that the S1's are so snug to put on over the center bore, that you have to push them on hard and they are just as tight getting them off. I don't see how you could possibly get a hub ring on there and still mount the wheel. Just going off experience, sorry.
