Default please help me decide

I know this is totally subjective, but I need help deciding on 15mm or 20mm spacers for the rear.

first off I plan on cutting or rolling the fenders (whatever the body shop is more comfortable doing)

I have axis hiro 19x10.5 with a 35mm offset and have decided I want a more aggressive stance. Currently I have 275/35 in the rear, but may go wider in the future because of my new found power after the vortech install.

So a 15mm spacer would give me an offset of 20mm and a 20mm would be 15mm. I have seen volks with 17mm offset that have the stance I am looking for. The last thing I want is my tire sticking out of the top of the fender.

thanks

are your wheels currently installed on your Z? If so, go out and measure how much space is left from the outside of your tire or wheel to the inside of you fender. How much are you lowered with the coilovers? The camber will make a difference as well. Or you can post a pic to help others help you. Just going by what you have said, I would suggest the 15mm spacer.

this is the closest pic I have. currently I have 5mm spacers because the wheel/tire was so close to the coilover.

took some measurements and there is about .75" to the edge so I'm gonna go for the 20mm spacer.

you measured .75" from the tire to the outside edge of the fender? If so and by looking at the pic, I say got with the 20mm too.

yeah I measured from the top half of the tire to the outside edge of the fender. I tried to take a camera phone pic, but the lighting was low and it came out blurry.

Now remember I have 275's on a 10.5" wheel so the tire is a little stretched and not as wide as where it meets the rim.

I think I will be happy with the 20mm

Good luck using the 20mm spacer on the rear. I guess the 275's are more stretched than I thought because I have the same wheels with no spacers and had to roll the fender a little, with a 305 tire.
