Upgrade stock 17" rims to 18"or 19" without springs etc?
My civic was easy. Went from 15" stock rims to 17" rims/low profiles without any spring or other modifications and fit perfectly.
Can I do the same with the Z? I have the Enthusiast. Id like to get Axis Shines or something along lines. After rims/tires, wont be able to do anything else unless it's minor. Can I at least switch to 18" with toyo proxy 4's like I did for my civic without lowering kits etc? Thanks

You will still want to lower the car. Look through the media share section and you will see the difference from lowered with aftermarket wheels to just aftermarket wheels
well, yeah you do wanna lower the car , otherwise it looks awfully HIGH. I've got mine on 19' and it looks alright but needs to be lowered immediately , i hate to see my springs. (well, not exactly, but literally) TVS hotchkis is the answer to your problem.

Last time I checked you can get springs around 200...used ones on the boards here for much less.
That sounds pretty minor to me if you're going to shell out the money for a Z and wheels/tires.
But no...you don't have to put on springs. It just naturally looks better.
Ok well if I can find some springs that cheap I'll deffinately do it. I don't want it to look strange. Trying to find the right set of rims now. I am thinking Enkei, set for $175 per rim and tire, can't afford $3000 worth of rims/tires on some of the other high end brands. Can only do about another $1500 with tires, any suggestions?
