Default Daily driver here... Tire recommendation?

Hey this is my first post here. I have an 03 350z and my tires are/have been feathering the last 5k miles (I've had em for 15k mi). They are the stock Potenza REO-40s and yes i want to go with a different brand. Heres what I want:

Tire under $200
Best bang for buck considering, in this order:
Performance (wet and dry)
Noise level
Treadwear

I live in Virginia and we get storms every once and a while so overall good wet traction is a concern of mine but NOT if its above average in loudness tire (I AM SO SICK OF THE FEATHERING NOISE... I don't want to hear the tire roar as I come to a stop or whurr loud if I'm cruising).

I'm sticking with stock 225/45R18 and 245/45/R18 sizes (03 track) and I'd prefer to have matching sets. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

PS
I'm also wondering whether all-season would work better for me considering how I drive. I don't track my car, I mostly go to and from work, but I DO speed and take hard corners pretty often. I drive about 10k mi a year. I could use the extended tread life of an all season tire, but I dunno if I'd be able to feal a difference in cornering, plus I want good wet/dry weather traction.

BFG KDW2's.

I LOVE these tires and will be getting them again and again. Amazing performance both dry and wet and not terribly expensive. (get them from a place like Discount or Costco).

+1, for a daily you need some good performance in both rain and dry which the kdw-2 delivers. they are a bit noisier then other tires though.

Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season are quiet. 420 treadwear rating.

They handle pretty good, maybe not as good as some of the good summer tires out there, but good enough for most. They also have good wet traction

BFG KDW2 are good, but they eventually get VERY NOISY. I had them and the noise was so bad at 20k miles, I replaced them. Loved everything else about them though...

I just got these new tires:
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole positions. They're much better than the all season kuhmos i've had which were leaps and bounds better than the stock tires. I like the RE960AS so far. They're real sticky compared to the kuhmos and they have a nice pattern. From what i understand they're real good in the rain as well, and in light snow.

I have a friend with a WRX on the KDW2's and the amount of grip that car has is retarded . . . .

Tires that come in your OEM sizes (I think) that meet your requirements:

-Pilot Sport 2s

-Toyo T 1 Rs

Prices might be over $200 per tire.

All season tires seem right for me... but I'm worried It wont handle the way I want it to or be as good in the rain as I sometimes need. I really want to get the BFG KDWII but everyone mentions how noisy they are and that makes it hard to pull the trigger... any suggestions!!!!

Exclamation

New tires will not solve a feathering problem. You may as well take your money, and toss it in the wind.

I have talked to someone from tirerack, and they recently tested (but havent published) the new Goodyear Eagle F1 All seasons and from there tests, they are the best performing all season in the dry. They said wet performance was good, but the Bridgestone RE960 are better in the wet. They also said the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S were quieter than the Bridgestones... But in reality, they are still to new to see how that lasts..

Alignment might help the feathering issue, but most likely it will return after 15-20k miles, hopefully longer with a higher treadwear tire.

contisportcontacts(german made) are under 200 per tire and car&driver rated them only second to the goodyear FI. Those continentals i purchased from tirerack balanced perfect on stock rims, required very very little stick on weights.

They aren't that new. They have been out for a few years now. I know someone who has gone through 2 sets already. And he has put 40k on the first set. They last a long time. And they feel like its dry when driving in the wet! I loved them on my G35 and tracked them as well.

Uhh I said Goodyear Eagle F1 ALL SEASON. They are new..

I have heard the goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 are amazing tires though, and hearing they last a good long while is awesome.

theres a difference between ContisportContacts and ContiSportContact 2....
Maybe I am not seeing something?

Anyways, that doesnt matter. Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S handle fine for a daily driver, you do loose a little bit of sports car feel though

Ok here are what I'm considering, please bump with your top pick of these options:

BFG KDW2
Toyo Proxes 1R
Falken FK452
Cooper 2XS
Goodyear Eagle F1 All-season
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position

Remember, I'm sensitive to noise and ride comfort as a close second priority to performance. If this rules out All season tires then so be it. Please give input!!!!!

On that list it depends.

If you dont mind noise level, BFG KDW2 is probably the best performing tire on your list.

Bridgestone and Goodyear A/S tires are both excellent. Goodyears probably have tad better dry performance while bridgestones have tad better wet performance.

Toyos get both bad and good reviews by people, overall people seem to like them though, but car and driver did give them a bad review

I would probably avoid the Coopers

I know nothing about the falkens, but from the experience I have with falken tires on other cars, they are usually a cheaper (get what you pay for) alternative.
