Finally some rain...
After mounting Pilot Sport 1s in the rear weeks ago, NYC finally saw its first rain shower in nearly a month. Well, on my way to and back from school, I have to say that I can instantly tell a difference in wet traction with these tires. It started pouring on the way back, and the car didn't feel like it was going to break loose at any point in time. Even before the highway the TCS slip light wouldn't jump once. It was great.
As I neared my house, I decided to test the traction, and give the car a kick from the light to see where wheelspin would occur. I let off as soon as the light came on - traction broke at around 3500 RPM, which is extremely impressive. I did it again in my alley way, and the tires held on, this time.
Happy with my choice. Now I can't wait to try out the Dunlops. =P
