New 19" Rims and now I get the slip light..
Help, please....
I just put 19" on my car and I am getting the slip light come on. The tire pressure light is also on b/c the tire shop couldn;t use tire monitoring valves. Any ideas. My wheels are Ruff racing 19x8.5 in front with 245/30/19 and rear with 19x9.5 275/35/19.
In dire need of answer,
Thanks - Paul

your tire sizes is what is causing it. OEM size is vs. your new size is more than 3% difference in diameter so you're front tires are over 4% faster than OEM so your light comes on because it thinks you're slipping the front!
go to 1010tires.com under the tech section you can figure it out there...good luck!

My stock size is a 19X10 rear with 265/35/19 and I believe a 245/35/18 front
I think the monitoring system is freaking out for more than one reason....break it down....try to get the sensors mounted first and go from there
